Designs for New Quilters

Get to know some beginner-friendly quilting designs! Christina will introduce new designs one at a time by drawing, and then everyone will stitch them on their own machine with tips and feedback as needed. There will be a maximum of 9 students in this 3 hour class.  

Participants should have had an introduction to free-motion quilting before taking this class. It’s ok if you have never quilted an actual quilt, it’s ok to not know any quilting designs, but you should understand what settings to use on your machine, and how to use your hands to move the quilt piece. If a student has machine problems in this class we probably will not have time to address them. 

To enjoy this class you will need: 

• A device such as a phone, tablet or computer, with an internet connection. 
• Free Zoom software on the device you will use to join the meeting (see your supply list for information). 
• A sewing machine capable of free-motion quilting. If you have never free-motion quilted on your machine, I recommend you sign up for my Jump Into Free Motion class first to learn all the basics and make sure your machine is ready.
